This package installs a Microsoft fix for the supported desktop models running
the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System with Service Pack 2 (SP2).
This package resolves an issue with the performance of 1394a or 1394b FireWire
devices connected to a 1394b port. This issue occurs after upgrading to the
Microsoft Windows XP operating system with SP2. For example, a digital camera
that uses S400 speed prior to installing SP2 will only use S100 speed after
upgrading to SP2. This issue occurs because when Microsoft Windows XP with SP2
is installed, the speed of 1394b ports is changed to S100.
