This package creates files that contain the HPQFlash Utility and a binary image of the System BIOS (ROM) for the supported notebook models with a 68MOU Family ROM. The HPQFlash Utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS on notebooks operating in a Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System environment. NOTE: This package provides an updated version of the HPQFlash Utility. The BIOS itself has not changed from the previous SoftPaq (sp39758). If you are already running BIOS version F.12, there is no need to re-flash the BIOS. NOTE: To determine the ROM revision and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view File/System Information.
